With KompoZer Portable you get a portable and powerful web-editors which you can take anywhere on a USB stick. KompoZer Portable is based on the same Gecko engine that powers Firefox and Thunderbird and features an FTP site manager, color picker, tabbed interface, CSS editing, standard-compliant markup, fully customizable interface, a built-in spellchecker and more. For those that want an HTML editor don't worry - you can jump between the WYSIWYG Editing Mode and HTML using tabs.

In my mind, KompoZer Portable is one of the easiest and most impressive WYSIWYG web editors I've ever used and the fact that it fits on a USB stick is simply amazing.

We’ve tried to solve the most frequently reported bugs: * the CSS Editor shouldn't add those annoying “*|” strings in the selectors any more * the preview in the “Image Properties” box now works properly * better FTP support (right-click in the Site Manager context menu) * the markup cleaner doesn't crash on nested lists any more * Enter in a paragraph now creates a new paragraph * the “Credits” panel in the About box is back ;-)
